I haven't updated anything in my blog since I got lots of stuff going on and with so little time, it's definitely killing me. I am preparing for an upcoming work in which I sing at night and travel to different places for one month. Yes, for one month. It's like a part time job once a year. I'll be in Boracay, Manila, Indonesia and etc so you better keep posted. I'll be blogging about it soon.

I'll resume writing and reviewing beauty products as soon as I get back. I hope I get to meet new viewers and friends.

PACKAGING

It comes in a black plastic tube which is sturdy and elegant looking. Sorry for the very messy container, it's an old product which I can't let go without reviewing. I have this for almost 4 years now and still loving it. It has a clear container at the bottom so you have an idea what the color is like. 

The cap has the item code, shade name and weight of product. I have mine in Circe and Thalia which are very neutral colors. Each in 4g of product.

CIRCE

CIRCE has a very earthy tone. More of a flesh like when applied. It is very creamy and moisturizing. If you have super dry lips, you might want to use a lip balm before applying this. It sits on the cracks so make sure you even it out before applying. I don't mind re applying lipstick every two to three hours but if you do then super matte lipsticks are good for you.

THALIA is more of an old rose. It has a neutral tone which suits for everyday use. 

Overall, I like these lipsticks and I'm planning to get more shades. They're much cheaper compared before. I got this for 300php (four years ago) each at a friend from my old Facebook account but they're available anywhere online for 130php to 200php - Facebook, Sulit, Instagram. Beware of fakes!

This foundation is as expensive as the Colorstay line in the malls. I always get my products from CHEDELYN's Cosmetic Store so it's cheaper. Half of the price I'd say. I bought this for 580php.

Online Stores: 550php to 650php

It is more of a sheer foundation to me. It is very light in the skin but tends to look heavy because of its shimmers. I have a sweaty face so it doesn't look good. I prefer matte foundations.  I also don't like my face in photos when I use this foundation maybe because of its high SPF. Make up with high SPF gives a white cast on the face so I always stay away from it. I just apply sunscreen when I go out during the day.

The coverage however is good for those who wants a light coverage that'll give a subtle glow and doesn't look heavy. Good for dry skin. For me, this isn't full coverage compared to Revlon Colorstay which covers all my flaws, I don't even need to use any concealer.

Priced at 350php to 450php at Watsons, Maybelline counters and online shops.

Great mascara for the price. It gives a lot of volume and length. It has thick consistency so if you're not a fan of thick make ups then you got to stay away from this. I love how it thickens my lashes instantly. I have the waterproof version and the color is in Blackest Black.

Overall, I really like the product. I like Maybelline mascaras. They are the best! So if you like an HD mascara, thick, full coverage and gives a lot of volume without flaking or ending up having a raccoon eyes then this is the best I could recommend (another one is Maybelline Colossal). I told you, I have lots of them!

To remove waterproof mascaras or makeups, I recommend using a cold cream before washing the face. Apply cold cream on face, eye lids and massage all over. Wipe with wet tissue until removed. Wash your face with soap and water.

Fashion 21 Aqualicious Lipstick Review

I got these lipsticks at METRO CEBU for 175 php each. Available at any malls with Fashion 21 counters. They are very cheap, which is a good thing for lipstick lovers. Not that pigmented but the color payoff is great. Not that matte, a little moisturizing on the lips but I always apply my EOS lip balm (any brand will do) prior to application.

Once you wear it on, no one can ever tell it's a local product. The colors are great, it just glides on the lips like butter. The case is also sturdy. Closes very well and like my MAC lipsticks, it doesn't smudge on both sides as long as you close the cap well.  That's a huge plus for me because I always want my cosmetics to look clean even if they're years old.

As I said, the shades are very pretty. Arctic Stone is more of a nude color, from a brown tone when applied to lips, transforms into a very creamy, earthy shade that makes you look simple and it's also great for everyday use. Little Mermaid on the other hand is a pink coral lipstick that gives a subtle glow on the face when worn. I love how it's very opaque, clean when applied and I got to say, this one is my favorite of all the Aqualicious line. 

If you want a long wearing lipstick, this is not for you. I don't mind retouching so it doesn't really bother me.  I re apply every 3 hours without drinking or eating.

Can you see how great the colors are? I swatched it on my skin so it is more of a beauty when applied on the lips.

MAC Lipstick in Saint Germain

St. Germain is a bright to pale pink lipstick with very blue undertones. It has a very creamy and pigmented formula. My favorite shade of all MAC lippies. I sometimes call this BARBIE PINK.

Beware of counterfeits. I had one before so I know the difference. Unfortunately I lost the fake one so I couldn't post it anymore. Just make sure the seller is legit. I bought this from a friend at a discount price of 850php.

PACKAGING

This has been the regular packaging of all MAC lipstick in regular shades. Black box with white prints. The lipstick container itself is very sturdy. Cap closes well and product doesn't smudge on either sides. In short, very simple yet elegant.

SWATCH

I swatched this on my hand so it's a little lighter. I should probably post a photo of me wearing this shade. It's amplified creme with blue undertones.

If you want a very nice bright to pale pink blue based lipstick then this is the one for you. I swear by it. I just don't use it everyday because one, it's expensive. I don't get to buy this everyday. The color isn't for everyday use so I only wear this when I go out for a party or casual events.

I've been using this as my first face primer and find it to be sooo nice like I could smother it to my face all day. It dries up to a very smooth velvety, powdery touch. Before I put any products on my face, I always tone using my Celeteque Hydrating toner, followed by its sister, the Celeteque Hydrating Moisturizer. This method keeps my oil at bay. I let it sit for a few minutes, maybe five or ten and I apply my ELF primer. You just need a small pea size for your whole face, a little goes a long way. I let iT sit for another five minutes and I start with all my regimen. Primer is said to be used to create a smooth canvass for foundation application and I can really see the difference with and without it. I'm really glad I discovered this product. 

I am scouting for another primer that would keep my face as matte as possible. I hate to see any hint of oil, wetness, shine or any other things in my face. So good luck to me!
